Dr. Jason Liang is a distinguished podiatrist and a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is a graduate of Metro Christian Academy and holds a bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
Dr. Liang earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science – William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, where he also obtained a Masters Degree of Healthcare Administration. He then completed an intensive three-year residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at Ascension St. Vincent in Evansville, Indiana, with a special focus on foot and ankle reconstruction surgery.
During his three-year residency, Dr. Liang honed his skills in complex surgical cases including forefoot, rear-foot, reconstruction and ankle procedures, wound care, and limb salvage. “During my residency, I focused on learning from the leaders in podiatric medicine while studying new procedures and technologies,” Dr. Liang reflects.
After his residency, Dr. Liang established a thriving practice in Southern Illinois, where he served the community for seven years. He then chose to return to his roots in Oklahoma, joining Metro Tulsa Foot and Ankle Specialists.
Dr. Liang is highly skilled in conservative and surgical management of foot and ankle conditions. His areas of expertise include reconstruction and total ankle replacement, flat foot reconstruction, bunion correction, limb salvage, and Charcot reconstruction.
As a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and American Board of Podiatric Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery and Member of American Podiatric Medical Association, Dr. Liang remains committed to the highest standards of patient care and professional excellence.
Dr. Liang is fluent in English and conversational in Mandarin Chinese. His personal interests include spending time with family, watching movies, traveling, and trying new foods and restaurants.
